Wireless Electrical Device control System

 Designer:  Jeliel Dessalines

Client: Mary Haggerty, Shore Educational Collaborative, Chelsea, MA

Abstract

The objective of this capstone project is to build a 120-volt adaptive system device for cooking appliances, with a student interface (Frame and device control switches) that will contain up to eight push buttons directly associated with 120 volts terminals that are restricted by relay, and an instructor interface (Frame and administration switches) grants or denies a request made to supply power to a device by a student by allocating a word size binary number for both access and denial for each student. It also has the pads that indicate which student is controlling the terminal. The positive voltage will indicate a request in power to the terminal. The binary commands will be sent to a microprocessor that will analyze the data and accordingly control the terminals, and basically based on the code that it takes, it will determine which device to cut off or on.
