Abstract
The Automatic Balloon
Inflator System was built as an automated balloon inflation
system for Nashua Center, NH. The system improves the
ability of a person with disabilities to easily blow up
balloons for his business. The automated balloon inflator
device allows the user to select one of 10 pre-set balloon
types, the balloon inflation time, and start filling the
balloon with helium gas by pressing a button. Once the
balloon starts to fill, the system will automatically stop
the inflation process by shutting down the gas flow when the
set inflation time has been reached. The user may also
interrupt the on going inflation process by pressing a
“stop” key.
