The system designed for the people of the Peruvian Andes is
a data transfer network that will work on pre-existing
145.6Hz radio equipment. Through the use of Terminal Node
Connectors, data transfer across the radio is possible. The
design and implementation of a Cable Switching Unit will
make the transitions between voice and data systems simple
and error-limited. Also, the Cable Switching Unit will
prevent excess wear and tear on the radios themselves
